For veteran Destiny 2 players, Xur is not a new name. Xur is the Agent of 9 and he arrives in Destiny 2 every Friday, and stays until Tuesday. Xur is basically a vendor where players can buy exotic gear and weapons from him. Items can exist bought using Legendary Shards.

Even so, there is a twist when Xur arrives in the game. His location changes every calendar week, so players need to discover him in the game before they can actually buy the items. Xur can either spawn in The Tower, European Expressionless Zone, Titan, Nessus, or IO.
